CRIME: THEFT OF HEADPHONES
CRIME SCENE: SOLTERRA NEIGHBORHOOD, DAVENPORT
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE: 25-23379
This theft occurred on June 9th in the community room gym at the Solterra Resort north of Davenport.
The victim left the gym, and inadvertently left her Air Pod Max headphones behind. When she returned later to retrieve them, they were gone.
Security video from the resort shows the suspect picking up the headphones, putting them on, and walking out of the gym.
He made no known attempt to report that he found the headphones.

At around 1 pm on Tuesday, July 15th, Deputy Janiak noticed a gray 2024 Toyota SUV traveling on I-4 at a speed that was well-above the 70 mph speed limit.
