Not only do we want to solve this particular crime, we want to use this crime to serve as a reminder to everyone.

There are car burglars who only burgle unlocked cars.

And there are burglars who will burgle a car whether it is locked or not, if they know that there are valuables inside.

In this particular crime, we believe the burglar saw the victim put her purse into the glovebox, and when she left, the vehicle was entered and the purse was stolen.

This crime occurred at Posner Park in the Davenport area on May 8th.

After the victim's purse was stolen, her credit cards were used at Target to purchase a vacuum, a TV, and gift cards.
